Overseas Screening - Possible Reason for TB Cases Decrease



Throughout the history, it has been noted that one of the major causes of death to humans is tuberculosis. This is because it can be highly contagious and can cause death if not taken seriously with medication.


But there has been a significant decrease to the number of tuberculosis cases in the United States. And one of the reasons that they give credit on is the advancement on the medical field with the help of screening and advanced treatments given to people infected with this disease.


Screening is where a person will be subjected to a number of tests to know whether he or she has a disease or not. The screening for tuberculosis are administered not only for the country’s residents but also to the immigrants whoa re about to enter the country. With this, it is possible for them to detect the problem early on and give them the proper treatment to avoid further infection.
